SUPPORTING YOUR MOOD THROUGH FOOD & SELF-CARE

The link between food and physical health is well established, but what we eat can also influence our mood. And importantly, the relationship is two-way - how we feel can influence how, when and why we eat.

If you struggle with low mood, considering how food, nutrition and your broader self-care can support you, may be one part of the overall picture. Of course, experiences such as as depression are complex and there is no one-size-fits all solution. But there are clear pathways connecting the gut and the brain, and gentle, supportive nourishment may play a role in helping the body and mind feel more resourced.

This ebook is is designed to offer a simple, realistic starting point. It explores some practical ways to care for your mood through food and everyday self-care - without pressure or restrictive or overwhelming food rules. It includes a ‘Mood Check’ Questionnaire too.

If you do download the guide, I would genuinely love to hear what you think. You are very welcome to email me with your reflections - and as a thank you, I’ll offer you 10% off any Gut Reaction service.
